PIX4Dmapper

PIX4Dmapper is a photogrammetry software developed by the Swiss company PIX4D. It is designed to process aerial and ground images into accurate 2D maps and 3D models. The software works by analyzing overlapping images taken from different angles and positions, extracting features, and using this information to create detailed, georeferenced maps and models.

PIX4Dmapper is commonly used in industries such as agriculture, construction, mining, surveying, environmental monitoring, and various others where accurate mapping and modelling of terrain or structures are essential. It supports a wide range of image formats and can integrate with various types of cameras and drones.

The software provides a user-friendly interface for importing images, processing, and generating outputs like orthomosaics (aerial images corrected for topographic relief), digital surface models (DSMs), point clouds, and 3D models. Additionally, it offers tools for measurement, analysis, and visualization of the generated data.
